Today, Friday, the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced a new record in the number of tourists who visited Turkey during the year 2019.
In a statement, the ministry said, “Turkey received in 2019, a total of 51 million and 700 thousand tourists.”
It is expected that Turkey will jump in the ladder of tourist countries this year, as it ranked sixth in 2018, according to data from the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
