Istanbul Governor Ali Yerli Wakaya called on citizens again on social media. In his statement, Yerlikaya said: “Dear citizens, as of 14.15, according to information from our Regional Directorate of Meteorology, frost and snowfall are expected in Istanbul tonight. We have taken the necessary precautions. Please do not go out into traffic unless it is necessary as of 17.00.”
