The head of the Chamber of Butchers in Tunisia, Ahmed Al-Amiri, called on the Grand Mufti of the Republic to cancel Eid Al-Adha due to the lack of herds and the high prices of meat.
And Ahmed Al-Amiri stated that “the price of meat has reached 40 dinars per kilogram, and the Tunisian citizen is unable to buy the sacrifice due to its high prices.”
Al-Amiri also called on the government to set a unified price for meat, noting that next year the sacrifice price will reach 1,300 dinars.
