A child committed suicide by wrapping a rope around her neck and hanging it from the roof of her house in Fayoum, Egypt.
The sheriff of Al-Shawashna Police Station said that Rahma Abdullah, 14 years old, a student in the third preparatory year, died by hanging.
He added that after examining the crime scene, it was found that the child had wrapped a rope around her neck and hung it from the roof of her house, which resulted in her death on the spot.
He added that investigations revealed that the child had a sister a year younger than her, and she was going through a psychological crisis during the last period of her life after the death of her parents, which prompted her to get rid of her life by hanging.
A report of the incident was issued and the prosecution, which undertook the investigation, was notified
