Istanbul Airport ranked first in Europe in terms of the average number of daily flights during the period from 22 to 28 July, with 1,327 flights.

This came according to a report issued by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation “Eurocontrol” regarding flights between July 22 and 28.

Thus, Istanbul International Airport surpassed the French Charles de Gaulle airports, and the Dutch Schiphol Amsterdam airport, by the number of flights in the aforementioned period.

The report stated that Istanbul Airport witnessed an average of 1,327 daily flights in the aforementioned period, while Antalya Airport witnessed 942 daily flights, ranking eighth in Europe.
