
Turkish airlines announced the cancellation of flights in Istanbul, tomorrow, Monday, due to bad weather.
Turkish Airlines media advisor Yahya Ustu said, via social media, that the company had canceled 170 flights in Istanbul.
He explained that 152 of the canceled flights were through Istanbul Airport and 18 through Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
In turn, Pegasus Airlines said, in a post also on its social media accounts, that the company had canceled all its flights to Sabiha Airport in the Asian part of Istanbul.
A strong storm began in Istanbul on Sunday, accompanied by snow and rain, which is expected to intensify on Monday, according to the Turkish meteorologist.
