The Turkish Meteorological Authority warned today, Monday, that temperatures will continue to rise above the usual annual rate across the country.

She said that today it is expected that the interior and western parts of the country will be partly and severely cloudy, and other areas in Edirne, Kirklareli, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Bilecik, Balikesir, Kutahya, Izmir, Eskisehir will be less cloudy and clear.

It added that air temperatures are expected to be higher than seasonal normal for the next four weeks.

And she continued that in the next five-day period and today, the highest temperatures are expected to be 18 degrees in Ankara, 23 degrees in Izmir, 18 degrees in Istanbul, 22 degrees in Samsun, 23 degrees in Antalya, and 26 degrees in Mersin. , and 20 degrees in Diyarbakir.

She indicated that rains are expected to fall in Marmara, the entire Aegean Sea, northwest central Anatolia, and western Black Sea tomorrow, in the entire Black Sea region, and north-central Anatolia on Wednesday.

The rain regime is expected to be in effect in the north of the country on Thursday and throughout the country on Friday.

The temperatures will also be higher than the seasonal norm.
