
Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid announced that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will visit Syria and Turkey tomorrow, Monday.
And the Egyptian Foreign Ministry statement stated: “Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Mr. Sameh Shoukry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, will travel tomorrow morning, Monday, February 27, to Syria and Turkey, on a visit aimed at conveying a message of solidarity from Egypt with the two countries and their two brotherly peoples after the disaster.” The earthquake on February 6, which caused heavy losses in both countries.
And the statement continued: “It is expected that the Foreign Minister, in his meetings in Syria and Turkey, will affirm Egypt’s permanent readiness to provide a helping hand and assistance to the affected people in the affected areas of the two countries, and that Egypt, the government and people, cannot be late for a day in supporting its brothers.”
