The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia issued an order to reconsider the case of a Syrian woman who had won a previous ruling proving her marriage to a Saudi businessman who left behind a fortune estimated at 700 million riyals, referring the case again to the Personal Status Court in Jeddah.

And the Saudi newspaper Okaz reported, on Sunday, that the Supreme Court had previously ruled last year in favor of the Syrian woman, after she presented evidence and evidence proving her marriage “secretly” to a late businessman, which entitles her to inherit from him 80 million riyals (21 million US dollars).

The newspaper pointed out that the share of the Syrian widow from the estate of the late husband, whose name was not revealed, is 80 million, subject to increase after the completion of the inheritance inventory.
