The “Turkish Red Crescent” organization revealed the way through which the Syrians can inquire about any matter related to the monthly assistance card or file a complaint in the event that the assistance card was canceled for some reason.
The organization said that the method includes two options. The first option is to contact the center via the toll-free number “168” during official working hours.
The second option is to fill out a form containing your name, email, and phone number, and then write the question or complaint message.
The organization pointed out that there are several factors due to which the monthly assistance card may stop, including changing the applicant’s phone number without informing the program.
In addition to changing the address of the originally registered residence without informing the Red Crescent Center, and the occurrence of a change in the family structure in terms of number and age.
This is in addition to a change in the person’s employment record (social security record), possession of high-value assets, or obtaining Turkish citizenship.
It should be noted that there are more than one million Syrians in Turkey who benefit from the monthly assistance card provided by the program, according to unofficial statistics.
The monthly aid program is funded by the European Commission for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO).
