Electricity bill subsidy is provided to whom?
The income of the individual for the household to apply for bill assistance must be less than one-third of the minimum wage. (701 TL).
If the electricity bill is higher than the assistance amount determined according to the family situation, the citizens living in the house have to pay the difference.
Persons who wish to benefit from assistance must register in the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation system.
After registering with the institution, you must go to any “ptt” service branch with your identity card and electricity bill to register your information.
After providing your identity and billing information, the PTT officer will inquire if you need help paying your electricity bills (documentation on your family’s income level is required). Then you will start receiving government support on your electricity bills.
You are not given cash assistance within the scope of the assistance allocated to the electricity bill, but the electricity bill is automatically paid according to the amount of support that you will receive.

How is the electricity bill subsidy calculated?
How is the monthly electricity consumption subsidy calculated according to the number of family members and the amount of electricity consumed:
75 kWh – 40 TL per month for two-person families.
100 kWh – 53 Turkish liras per month for families of 3 members.
125 kWh – 67 TL per month for families of 4 people.
150 kWh – 80 TL per month for families with 5 or more people.
People who live with medical devices at home due to their chronic illness get a monthly subsidy on the electricity bill of 200 TL.
These conditions apply to Turks, Syrians, and Arabs who are naturalized in Turkey, and to Syrians registered with the Ministry of Family and Labor.
