The American magazine “Travel and Leisure” chose Istanbul Airport as the second best international airport, after Singapore’s Changi Airport.
This came in the results of a survey organized by the magazine for travelers on the list of “Top 10 International Airports,” according to a statement issued by the operator of Istanbul Airport “IGA”.
The statement indicated that Istanbul Airport outperformed a number of prominent airports in the world, such as Hamad, Incheon, Dubai, Hong Kong, Zurich, Abu Dhabi, Haneda and Copenhagen airports.
The statement stated that Istanbul Airport ranked second in the list of the 10 best airports, behind Singapore’s Changi Airport.
The magazine takes several criteria in classifying airports, such as transportation, security, restaurants, shops, and design.
