Turkish Airlines announced the cancellation of all flights scheduled for Monday to Israel due to the demonstrations taking place.
According to the statement of the Turkish Airlines media office, two flights from Istanbul Airport to Tel Aviv Airport, two flights from Tel Aviv Airport to Istanbul, a flight from Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Tel Aviv, and a flight from Tel Aviv Airport to Sabiha Gokcen Airport were cancelled.
For nearly 12 weeks, tens of thousands of Israelis have been demonstrating daily against the “judicial reform” plan that the Netanyahu government intends to implement.
The plan includes amendments that limit the powers of the Supreme Court (the highest judicial authority) and give the government control over the appointment of judges.
