
On Friday, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu commented on the armed attack on the Good Party building in Istanbul.
Minister Soylu said, “The attack on the Good Party building is a clear provocation, and the police are investigating the incident.”
He added, “The perpetrators will be found as soon as possible. However, to stir up hostility without specifying the cause of the incident is to provoke and spread political opportunism through this heinous event.”
On Friday, the headquarters of the opposition Turkish Good Party was attacked by an unknown gunman.
And the media said that an unknown person fired a message towards the good party and fled before the police arrived at the scene
She added that the photos show that the bullet entered through the window of the building and hit an indoor seat. The police are conducting investigations in the building to arrest the attacker.
Commenting on the incident, the head of the Good Party, Meral Aksener, said: “No one has yet been born to scare Meral Aksnar. May God shame me if I fear anyone but him.”
For his part, the candidate of the opposition People’s Alliance, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, said, commenting on the incident: “I contacted Ms. Meral Aksnar a while ago, Ms. Aksnar is a strong leader. You can’t scare her. I am waiting for the perpetrators to be arrested immediately and brought to justice.”
