The Chargé d’Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Cairo, Salih Mutulu, announced that the Turks had been exempted from the requirement to obtain a visa to enter Egypt in advance.

He said that Egypt will start granting visas to Turkish citizens at airports and crossings.
