Lake Hazer, located in the state of Elazığ, eastern Turkey, receives its visitors during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, decorated with its picturesque natural colors in the spring.
The lake is located in the Sevrija region, about 25 km from the center of the state, on the road between the states of Elazig and Diyarbakir.
The lake is surrounded by the mountains of Mastar, Jelimbek, Hazer Baba, and Qoshqji, with an area of 82 square kilometers, while its beaches are 56 km long, which makes it very similar to sea beaches.
The lake has a different beauty in each season, which attracts tourists throughout the year.
The lake is a center of attraction for tourists thanks to its tourist facilities, restaurants, and camping spaces.
The owners of tourist establishments in the region completed their preparations to receive tourists with the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the advent of Eid al-Fitr.
In an interview with Anadolu Agency, Tanir Dormoush, owner of a hotel and restaurant on the shore of the lake, said that the rate of hotel reservations during Eid Al-Fitr amounted to 80 percent.
He pointed out that the number of visitors during the month of Ramadan witnessed a relative decline, but the lake witnesses a great turnout during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
He added that they have completed all the necessary preparations in order to optimally receive visitors, as they have restored and renovated some areas of the facility and cleaned the surrounding area.
He pointed out that the largest percentage of visitors are from the states located in the southeast and east of the country, in addition to some tourists from major states such as Istanbul and Ankara.
He explained that the region will become more beautiful when landscaping and landscaping projects are established, calling on local authorities to contribute and support in this regard.
For her part, Hulya Dormus, who also operates a hotel and restaurant in the area, said that Lake Hazer is the second largest lake in the region after Lake One.
She stressed that the lake is a center of attraction for tourists, thanks to its picturesque nature and tourism potential.
She added that they are anticipating the arrival of more tourists to the region during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, in order to receive them fully.
She pointed out that they have completed all the necessary preparations for the feast, such as organizing the garden and the beach, and developing ships.
And she emphasized that Lake Hazer enjoys a different beauty every month and every season throughout the year.
