Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the Ankara-Sivas high-speed train will be launched tomorrow, Wednesday, to shorten the distance between the two Turkish states and travel time.

One of the most important features of the train is that it runs at a speed of 250 km / h, and will reduce the distance between Ankara and Sivas from 603 km to 405 km.

The travel time between Sivas and Ankara will be reduced to only two hours, and the travel time between Ankara and Yozgat will be reduced to one hour.

The project includes 8 stations: Elmadag, Kirikale, Yerkoy, Yozgat, Sorgun, Ak Dağmadani, Yıldızli and Sivas.

It also provides the opportunity to travel by train to about 1.4 million people living in the mentioned states.
