How to prepare

  1. Put a saucepan on the fire, put the oil and heat it over medium heat, then add the onions and stir until well browned, then remove from the heat.
  2. Bring the electric mixer, whisk half the amount of fried onions, yogurt, garlic, ground spices, salt and black pepper, then leave the mixture aside.
  3. In the same pot, add the meat in place of the onions and my heart well until it acquires a brown color, then add the potatoes, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, and cloves, and stir all the ingredients again.
  4. Add the onion and yogurt mixture to the pot of meat and stir well until the ingredients are combined, then cover the pot, and leave the meat to simmer over a low heat for at least 60 minutes or until it is completely cooked.
  5. In a pot on the stove, put water with the cardamom and bay leaf on the fire until it boils and boil the basmati rice in it.
  6. Add the boiled rice to the meat, then cover the pot and leave the meat and rice to simmer for 15 minutes, or until fully cooked, then remove the pot from the heat.
  7. To make it smell like grilling, light a piece of charcoal, then put it in a sheet of foil on top of the rice and meat, put some drops of oil on top of it, then close the pot for a few minutes so that it acquires the smell of charcoal.
  8. Lift the lid of the pot and remove the charcoal, then put the saffron water on the face.
  9. Bring the serving plate and put the shrimp in it and serve it hot to your family.
