Excuse to make flights for 12 hours at Gaziantep Airport.

In this context, local media reported that flights could not be carried out for 12 hours due to the “suspicious object” that was allegedly detected by the radar of a passenger plane.

And trthaber channel reported that the radar of a plane that arrived at Gaziantep Airport detected an unknown object at an altitude of 9,000 feet in the middle of the night.

She indicated that after the pilots reported the situation to the Gaziantep Air Traffic Control Tower, the aircraft in question was diverted to Adana.

Other flights were diverted from Gaziantep Airport to Adana and Sanliurfa.

It was learned that 18 flights, one of them in Gaziantep, have been canceled since the accident.

The channel confirmed that flights were resumed at Gaziantep Airport 12 hours after the suspicious body was evaluated.
