The central bank’s monetary policy committee is expected to announce its interest rate decision next Thursday.
The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT) will meet Thursday under the chairmanship of Central Bank Governor Şaheb Kavjioğlu and the interest rate decision will be announced at 14:00 on the same day.
In the previous meeting, the Central Bank of Turkey kept the interest rate steady at 8.5% and is expected to keep it unchanged at its meeting next week.
All economists expect the policy rate to remain steady at 8.50%.
