
Kofta amounts
- A kilo of minced meat
- Finely chopped medium onion
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- A tablespoon of tomato sauce
- ¾ kilo peeled and diced tomatoes
- ¼ kilo of mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
- A teaspoon of ground dried basil
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
How to prepare
- In a large bowl, put the minced meat, oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper in it, and stir well until all the ingredients are combined and form a dough.
- Shape the minced meat dough into balls, then bring a wide non-stick pan and put it on the fire until it gets hot.
- Add a little oil and put the kofta balls in the oil until they acquire a brown color, then turn them on all directions.
- After getting a brown color from all directions, remove the kofta from the oil and leave it aside, then put the onions in the same pan, and stir constantly until they wither and turn golden.
- Add the garlic, tomato sauce, tomato cubes, salt and black pepper and stir well, then leave it on a low heat for 10-15 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Preheat the oven at 200°C.
- Bring a suitable size oven tray and stack the kofta balls in it, then spread the tomato and onion mixture over it, then spread the cheese and basil on the face.
- Cover the tray with foil and put it in the oven for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and put it in the oven again for 5 minutes, so that its face turns red.
- Take the tray out of the oven and serve it hot to your family with health and wellness.
